Crash Capital

Crash Capital is a one-page TTRPG about late-stage capitalism and all its cruelty. Inspired by contemporary historical events, this small rules-lite game only requires a pair of d6s you can steal from a Monopoly set, a deck of cards, some paper scraps for notes, and whatever you have laying around to serve as player tokens. (coins, paperclips, rocks, orphaned Lego pieces, etc.) 

This game can be played solo, or up to four people. Just remember: it's hard to survive without your community. Trying to escape on your own is an unforgiving undertaking.

THE STORY

You are trapped in Capital City, a place that will commodify and use you up entirely for profit (or bulldoze your pitiful attempts at refusing to engage in the system) at every turn. With only some pocket cash, a few microwave meals, and the clothes on your back, you have to get out of the city or rot there.

Your only options for escape? The crumbling old highway exit or your inevitable demise as a cheap cog in a brutal machine.

THE GAME INCLUDES:

Comes in multiple formats: standard 8-page foldable zine, decorative one page (it looks cool), and plain one page (won't use up as much ink). Crash Capital is structured like a dungeon crawler board game, except YOU are in control of the map creation.

Content warnings for references to pandemics, police brutality, violent riots, and the Jan. 6th insurrection. If any of this sounds upsetting, please don't download this. None of the topics are actually discussed, but they are indeed referenced and exist as events/encounters in the game.
